Pera and Kasımpaşa have become physically and culturally separated from each other over time. The existence of the elevation difference and the clustering of the low-income segment in Kasımpaşa and the high-income segment in the trade center Pera caused this; With the opening of Tarlabaşı Boulevard, the disconnection was further reinforced. For someone who wants to reach Kasımpaşa, which is actually close, by walking from Istiklal Street, instead of extending the road and reaching it as it disconnects from Pera, creating a buffer area in between and reconnecting the two sides can enable cultural interaction. Some features that both parties need can be added to this area, making it more attractive for users. The project aims to reflect the spatial equivalent of the experience of being in a theater play by focusing on the actions of watching and being watched, based on the Tepebaşı Theater that used to be located in this region.
